From us, about this pair

The strap is woven from narrow bands instead of cut from one piece, and the braid does two things. It looks like more shoe than it costs, and it flexes across the top of your foot, so high insteps that fight single-strap slides usually get on with this one.

Underneath it is our cork footbed with arch support, same as the plain slides. The braid is the only difference, and it is the reason this pair gets worn to dinner as often as to the market.
